Methods and properties CSActiveX

May 19, 2010 at 10:28 AM

I'm using the CSActiveX code to create an activex dll to use it like an ole object in Power Builder 11.5.

I got that power builder accept it as an OLE object, and insert it in form.
I can see events (click and FloatPropertyChanging) but I can't see the methods and properties.
I followed the explanations step by step  but I can't find any solution. Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance

Hello Angeles

I do not have Power Builder, so it's difficult for me to test this problem.

Can you try building MFCActiveX, and insert MFCActiveX into a Power Builder form? MFCActiveX is the native version of CSActiveX. If MFCActiveX's methods and properties are not displayed in Power Builder either, it may be a problem in Power Builder.

Hello Jialiang,

You are right, the problem is Power Builder. Your code works with power builder, adding the dll activex like an ole object. I can use the methods and properties, the problem is that these are not loaded in the tree of resources available to the object. It's only a "visibility" problem when I'm developing in Power Builder(it's my first time using it...).

Thank you very much!!
